The concert was performed by the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra (HSO), whose theme is \u201cMusic for Peace,\u201d together with musicians from Japan, which experienced a tragedy in WWII, the U.S., Germany, and Poland. Held with the aim of sending a message of peace through music, the concert brought astounding joy to the audience.<br>\r\nMusical pieces include a beautiful piano concerto by Chopin, performed by Aimi Kobayashi, who is a Japan\u2019s prominent young pianist and a finalist in the 17th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition, the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra from Poland, the homeland of Chopin, and HSO. Beethoven\u2019s Symphony No. 9 with Ode to Joy performed by musicians from Japan, the U.S., Germany, and Poland is also included.
