審査内容	Please film a video of the following pieces and upload it to YouTube. Make sure the videos are set to “Unlisted” and enter the URL on your application form. After the application deadline, we will conduct a preliminary selection based on the video and notify you of the results by email by May 8th Required Pieces: Snare Drum ・Heinrich Knauer – Kleine-trommel Schule No.30 ・Franz Von Suppé – Light Cavalry Overture – m.78 to 101 Required Pieces: Xylophone ・Morris Goldenberg – “Modern School for Xylophone”39 Etudes – No.III Presto ・George Gershwin – “Porgy and Bess” Introduction – 2 bars before 5 to 2 bars after 16 Video Recording – When uploading, include the candidate’s name in the ideo title. -The assignment should be recorded in the order listed above, but it is acceptable to record each piece separately. – The video should be shot in a diagonal angle in front of the candidate, full-body frame, with the candidate’s face and hands clearly visible. – Extremely loud or quiet sounds, or excessive noise, may not be considered for judging, so please review your video before submitting it.   [Primary and Secondary Rounds of Auditions] Those who pass the preliminary audition will be invited to participate in the first and second round of auditions, which will be held on June 1st. ※Depending on the results of the second round of auditions, we may ask you to extend your audition period (third round) to allow you to perform as a guest at several concerts for further judgement.   [Primary Round] Required Pieces: Snare Drums – Heinrich Knauer – “Kleine-trommel Schule” – No. 25, No. 29 – Jacques Delécluse – “Douze Études pour Caisse-Craire” – No. 1 Required Pieces: Xylophone – Morris Goldenberg “Modern School for Xylophone” 39 Etudes – No. I Allegro – Jacques Delécluse “Vingt Études pour Xylophone” – No. 3 Orchestral Excerpts: *Excerpts will be sent to applicants along with the audition schedule. *Candidates will perform solo. [Secondary Round] Orchestral Excerpts. Candidates will perform with the orchestra * Instruments will be provided by the orchestra. (No other instruments are permitted.) * Details of the instruments to be used will be provided when the orchestra schedule is sent.
応募方法	Download an application form from HSO’s official website, and fill in all sections.Send it with your photograph to the address below. Application from abroad maybe sent by e-mail. The audition schedule will be sent with the orchestral excerpts. *All expenses will be covered by the applicants.
応募締切	Friday, 10 April 2026 * Application must be received by the deadline. Post mark dated will not be accepted.
入団予定
待遇	For a new employee turning 22 or 30 before the end of FY 2025 The basic salary is 195,000 for 22 year-old or 226,000 for 30 year-old JPYen/month (before taxes), plus bonus, retirement allowance, social insurance and other benefits.
