Cultural and Idea Exchange with Students and Journalists Invited from Overseas
Date:Tuesday, January 9, 2018 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Venue:Hiroshima City Municipal Ushita Junior High School Library
Three invited journalists, four foreign exchange students, and seven students from PC broadcasting club gathered together for an exchange of ideas concerning the piano damaged by the atomic bomb blast and other subjects.

The invited musicians played an ensemble and intermingled with the students.
Date/Time: Tuesday, January 9, 2018 7:15 p.m. – 8:40 p.m.
Venue: JMS Aster Plaza Orchestra Practice Hall 38 junior and senior high school students from in and around the Hiroshima city area involved in music clubs (orchestral and wind instruments) at their respective schools enjoyed a presentation of a woodwind quintet made up of members from the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra. The students then had an opportunity for a question-and-answer session with the musicians from the two orchestras. In addition, 40 visitors from the general public also attended.
